ABOUT JUDEEBEE

Marie Jude Bendiola or commonly known as "Judee" was born in the Philippines. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in the University  of the Philippines Diliman.

As a Journalist, she started her career as a researcher in the News and Current Affairs of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation in Manila, Philippines. Then, she was based in Singapore for almost three years as a Public Relations Executive  in the Interactive Digital Media Institute of the National University of Singapore.

Aside from her profession as a Media / Communication Practitioner, she also had this life-long passion for the Arts.

She embarked on her first theater training in Artistang Artlets in University of Santo Tomas and Dulaang UP in the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Through her college life, Judee engaged in freelance performances as a host in various student/ corporate events. She also directed and wrote a play, " Ang Bola ni Niko Bibo" for her socio civic organization; then she braved the acting industry in ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation and other independent film outfits such as CinemaOne Originals, AmBisyon 2010 and HUBO productions.

In Singapore, Judee had her acting debut in Point of Entry, followed by Code of Law and Crime Watch. It is also such a great privilege for her to be  one of the actors in Iloilo, a full length Singaporean film which won the Camera d'or award at the Cannes Film Festival.

As a filmmaker (researcher, writer, director and editor), she won the Jury Prize on her video for the Digital Native Video Contest in India.

Now, she’s currently a Master of Arts student in North American Studies, specializing in Media Studies, in Philipps Universität Marburg, Germany.

Now, she's happy to make her dreams come true in the international arena and is positive for all exciting opportunities in the future.
